Shannon Fall has long been my very favorite season. It’s taken on a bit of a different feel since living in Florida, as there is no longer a crisp edge to the air, apple trees laden with fruit visible on country drives, or the remarkable New England foliage that I grew up with.
We celebrate with what we have though and I am taking full advantage to bring a bit of fall color and decor to our new home this year.
With any luck, I’ll be seeing my beloved New England fall soon enough for my next trip, but until then I will still remember the sweet scent of apples mingled with that musty scent of fallen leaves and LOVE that fall is here again.
