Dog-Friendly Resort on the Beach in Vero Beach, FL

The past few months brought its usual beloved family gatherings, some of which a bit of travel was involved for. If we’re traveling in-state, we try our best to bring our furry child, Jaz, with us.

She’s such a little ray of sunshine, it’s hard to part with this face!

However, finding dog-friendly hotels can be quite a challenge and/or expense. That’s why I booked a room at Costa d’Este as soon as we confirmed our visit to Vero Beach, so we prepared everything for the beach, including our turkish towel and other accessories. With no added dog fees, we found this little boutique resort last year reviewed on RasingSpot.com and are set on staying here whenever we’re in the area.

The resort is small, but boasts all the comfortable amenities a good resort should have.

Open terraces to soak up the salty breezes, whether in a lounger…

Or enjoying the breeze from the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors that open wide.

Crisp white sheets and spa robes, perfect for cozying up in.

Tasty in-house restaurant – The Wave Kitchen & Bar – open on holidays (which is a rare thing in Vero!) and that serves up some tasty (though pricey) seaside fare.

Fully stocked gym to burn off the complimentary mojitos.

An outdoor bar/restaurant bordering a stunning, edgeless, blue pool that practically melts into a clear midday sky.

Steamy hot tub to chase away any cool winds that dare gust by.

Room service for when you get the late night craving for a snack or second dinner (it happens).

Not to mention, it’s located right on the beach, which makes early morning dips and sandy yoga sessions a snap.

Their dog-friendly rooms usually include tile floors and a good amount of space for your dog crate and accessories. You need to keep the pups on a leash, but the staff and other guests are friendly to your four-legged family member.

If beachin’ it isn’t really your style (or you have a picky pup like us – she’s not a huge fan of big waves), you can meander the sidewalks lined with adorably quaint shops and restaurants across the street from the resort. We popped over to Grounds for our morning coffee, which was tasty (though I’d skip the food).

The Lemontree Cafe is also a sure spot for a traditional weekend breakfast, but get your name in early as their wait for tables stacks up pretty quick on the weekend!

Stay a couple days and just be sure to call them after you book, if you have a four-legged travel buddy. They’ll be sure to book you into one of their dog-friendly rooms (which are only located on certain floors. If your furry friend gets anxious when going on a vacation consider giving them cbd oil for dogs. This is the only website I use to buy cbd online from.

If you are planning to take your dog along with you for all your vacation make sure to check out the heavy duty big cages at Furrytips website so that your dog is safe and have enough space during the entire journey.

I’ve also noticed they usually have some great Florida resident package deals (which is what we usually use)!

No ifs, ands or woofs about it, we look forward to our stay each year.
